Kale Crisps


200g kale - stems removed and torn roughly into largish bite sized pieces

100g soaked cashews

1 large red pepper

Juice of a large lemon

Small onion or two cloves of garlic

1 fresh red chilli, deseeded

Salt to taste

Blend the red pepper, chilli, lemon and salt.  Add the cashews and blend again until creamy.

Massage the mixture into the kale.

Dehydrate at 115F for 24-48 hours until crisp.  

Warning:  you will have to keep trying them to see if they are ready, they can disappear very quickly!

Great as a snack anytime or party food.
