Green Juice

1 organic cucumber

1 organic celery

1/2 or 1 whole organic lemon (most of the nutrition is in the pith and peel of the lemon, cut off the outer peel if the lemon is not organic)

1 whole organic apple or pear - 2 if you need more sweetness

a thumbnail of  fresh ginger or small piece of fresh turmeric root (optional)

2-3 (or more) handfuls of green leaves (kale, spinach, rocket, watercress)

Wild greens if available – dandelion, grass, plantains, ground elder, clover, nettles.


Preparation method

Juice in a masticating juicer.  

You can also add your favourite green powder - barley grass, wheat grass, spirulina, chlorella.

1t-1T cold pressed oil (olive, hemp, flax, pumpkin seed) will ensure full absorption of anti oxidants and oil soluble vitamins - A, D, E and K.
